These captivating opal and diamond earrings are stunning. They are set in 18k yellow gold (clip part is 14k) . They date from the 1970s. In the center of a beautiful textured gold mourning in an abstract ribboned like design sit 3 oval fiery oval opals. Intensifying the opal and bringing the dazzle are round diamonds scatted about. The opals have a total approx. weight of 4.00 ct. The diamonds have a total approx. weight of .75 ct. The diamonds are I in color and SI1 in clarity. Striking and stunning with an easy elegance. They weigh 18.18 grams. They measure 11/16" long x 7/8" wide. They are marked JGJLRY and 18k. The clip is 14k. They are made for non-pierced ears, but easily convertible into pierced.
