Fresh and facile, this Victorian solitaire engagement ring is set in 14k yellow gold. It dates from the late 1880’s. A single Old European cut diamond is set in the center. The diamond has an approx. weight of 1.15 ct. The diamond is an M color and VS1 clarity. This is an appealingly effortless piece. It is a size 7 1/4, but easily resizable. It weighs 3.17 grams. It is marked 14k. The inside is also engraved Carl to Flora Aug. 19, 1918.
