This beautiful St. Christopher money clip is set in 14k yellow gold. It dates from the 1970s. Within the circular shaped frame is the round St. Christopher medal, in the center. The front of the medal has St. Christoper in the center. Across the top "St. Christopher" is written and across the bottom "Look at me and stay safe " is written. Saint Christopher is the patron saint of travelers, including motorists, who sometimes hang a small image of him in their vehicle for luck. The medal has become a symbol for overcoming adversity and the courage to follow your destiny. The money clip weighs 13.83 grams. The piece measures 1 5/8" x 1 1/2". It can easily be made into a pendant.
