This exquisitely elegant carved coin vintage necklace is set in 18k yellow gold. This piece dates from the 1970's.The circular dark slate colored coin is beautifully carved with an ancient warrior . The coin is framed in a double golden frame surrounded by diamonds and is attached to a heavy gold link chain. Two pear shaped rubies, on each side, attach the chain to the center. The total diamond weighs is 1.00 cts. The rubies are .25 ct each, for a total approx. weight of 1/2 ct. The choker measures 16 1/2". The coin pendant is 1". The entire piece weighs 88.2 grams. Simple sophistication infused with grandeur.
