This wonderfully elegant carved Victorian carnelian intaglio pendant is set in 14k yellow gold. It dates from the late 1800's. The oval shaped deep coffee colored carnelian is beautifully carved warrior of the time. There is a soft translucence that is accentuated when held to the light. It is framed in a oval roped golden frame. Simple sophistication infused with quiet powerfulness. The pendant measures 1" x 3/4". It weighs 4.77 grams.
