This striking and adorable gold and enamel snail brooch dates from the 1960’s. It is set in 18k yellow gold. The alternating gold and enamel coils of the snail swirl around to form the sensational snail. The snail has 1 ruby eye. He sports a small triangular diamond patch at the bottom of his body for the well deserved dazzle. This unique look is truly in a class by itself. The brooch measures 1 1/2” x 3/4 ”. The brooch weighs 15.10 grams. It is marked 750 and Italy.
